I realized that one of the easiest ways to lose weight is to "not be around" snacks or people who snack. It may be cliche that "out of sight, out of mind" -- I personally don't think about snacking (unless extremely hungry or sitting in the car for hours) if I don't see people around me doing it, or just seeing foods around that are easy to grab.
It's also true, "misery loves company" so if you sit around people who snack because they're depressed, you're bound to do the same thing. That's why part of this article does not apply to me, because if sharing snack means weight gain to me, then I would rather eat alone, and only when I'm hungry!
